is currently the leading provider of professional, child centred,
trauma informed therapy services to children, families and groups who
have been affected by child sexual abuse. CARI?s therapy services
provide therapy to children aged **Apply on the website** and under
who have been affected by sexual abuse and children aged **Apply on
the website** and under who present with sexually harmful behaviour.
PART-TIME PSYCHOTHERAPIST ROLE:
The role involves the provision of therapy to children and adolescents
affected by child sexual abuse. The position also requires an ability
to work supportively with the non-offending parents/carers of the
child/ young person. There will also be a requirement to be able to
liaise with other professionals such as socials workers, mental health
professionals, teachers who may be involved in the child?s care.
Previous experience of working therapeutically with children is vital,
preferably on both a one to one and group basis. The role requires an
ability to work within a team structure both face to face and
remotely. All team members report directly to the team leader to
ensure that quality in service is assured and consistency in approach
is achieved. There will be opportunities for continued professional
development and training within the role, and clinical supervision
will be provided.
The successful candidate may be asked to perform other duties
appropriate to the position, in consultation with the Therapy Team
Leader.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
* Experience of providing psychotherapy to children, adults, and
families.
* Experience of group work with children and / or adults.
* Primary or higher degree in related discipline.
* Recognized psychotherapy qualification and accreditation.
* Knowledge of Children First Guidance.
* Ability to work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
